Typhoon Day

In Taiwan, there are many kinds of climates so that our land could breed all sorts of living things. Therefore, our people there also enjoy great life because of this innate condition. The climates have four seasons including spring, summer, fall, and winter which all have its main characters. One disaster in summer, however, is the typhoon we couldn’t avoid.

Some days ago, there was a great typhoon passing through Taiwan. This typhoon is stronger than others this year. Although it moved slowly, we still could feel its power. While the days of typhoon coming, the wind strongly blew and rained heavily so that we can’t go anywhere. Out of window, everywhere and even news on TV all are terrible views. Just like before, we students will expert the typhoon holiday. However, these days are weekend students don’t have typhoon holidays. What I could do is just staying home, studying books or sleeping, this way, only doing so seems to be joyful and secure than playing outside on the scary typhoon day.

It really an impressive day, and I couldn’t believe that I still could sleep well at that moment. We should take care of our security as well as disasters on typhoon days because it will cause many damages we couldn’t image. Many damages are often human caused, anyway, we should have to protect our environment well in common days. Or we would waste of such great weather and sources in Taiwan.
